Social media websites, blogs, and other websites provide you with a chance to boost your inbound traffic so you can start making money from Google. Working with other websites will give you a chance to forgo some of the standard procedures many businesses take when they are trying to boost their website traffic like doing a submit Google request. Here are some other ways to boost your traffic without using the indexing feature offered by the search engines:
- Networking. One of the best ways to gain more interest in your website and with your products is to network your business. It’s important to spend time where your niche market is. Are they on social media sites? Are they on stock market blogs? Search around until you find them and try to join the discussion boards and chat rooms so you can offer your expertise and provide extra links back to your website.
- Avoid the indexing programs. There are some programs out there that claim they will submit your website to all the search engines so you can start making money online. These indexing programs aren’t always successful and many of them don’t really do anything. Hard work on your part is going to be the best way to actually get more interest in your website and to start generating revenue from your site.
- Look into programs that can help you build backlinks. You may have heard of Traffic-Bug, which will list your website with other website to provide inbound links. The downside to this type of program is that the links it is providing aren’t always quality links and it can do more damage than good. Google doesn’t like people that are trying to cheat the system and they are constantly changing their algorithms to reject the websites that participate in programs like this. You want to build your backlinks, but do it slowly. Jumping from 10 backlinks to 100,000 in a week is a big red flag to Google.
So get out there and get your home based business up and running.
