DIY Wedding Centerpiece Ideas for fall

Sometimes, what makes a wedding special is not the venue itself, or the date, but rather, the hard work that either of the couple puts into making the decorations themselves. After all, nothing is sweeter than seeing the love of your life, laboring and working hard for the event that will bond that both of you for the rest of your lives. This is why, for those who want to make their own inexpensive wedding centerpieces out there, especially during fall, here are some ideas that will surely be of help.

  • Flowers, as we all know, are one of the best centerpieces out there, regardless of the season. In this case, get a bunch of flowers and paint them with rich hues on a gourd, whether made out of silver or gold. This will make a very extravagant, yet low-cost centerpiece.
  • For those who are more inclined in art and crafts, one can choose to carve out special symbols and shapes, such as doves, the bride, or the groom, or even the wedding ring, into a pumpkin. Put a candle inside the pumpkin to make it look like a good lantern.
  • Gather up dried leaves, and put glitters in them. Get a foam block, and tie a red ribbon around it, and decorate it with the leaves. This will make a somewhat modernized design of a centerpiece.
  • Get a clear, large bowl, and fill it with nuts, pebbles, shells or beads, depending on your tastes and preferences. Place a candle at the middle of jars, and place one in each table.

Fall centerpieces for weddings need not to be expensive. Sometimes, only a little bit of imagination and creativity is needed to make things much more beautiful. The sky is the limit for those who are imaginative and creative enough to use anything they want as centerpieces. Just remember, make sure it fits well the theme and location of the wedding.
